Madame Butterfly

20sqm room with a private terrace

Puccini’s famous opera, narrating the loves of a geisha and an American colonel, was premiered in 1906 in France, the year of the inauguration of Villa Alecya. The wallpaper, created by Slovak designers, pays homage to Japan’s influence on Belle Epoque artists by mixing geishas and ladies of iconic Art Nouveau painter Alfons Mucha. The decoration of the room does the same, between caning and bamboo, wood, metal and velvet ... Welcome to "Madame Butterfly"!
